An Unworthy Manner

“Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 11:27). We don’t have to be a Biblical scholar to any degree to comprehend that is a stern admonition. We find it in the midst of 1 Corinthians 11 wherein Paul is issuing a long line of expected behaviors to the church in Corinth. Over, Under, Around and Through

In some humorously demented ways we love our obstacles, we love the challenges of mazes, the puzzles. In our independent determinism, we will find our way; “one way or another, I will deal this situation, I will find the solution!” In the moral and spiritual realms, it is at times not so different; yet the question to be asked is, “What is the solution which God requires?”
